Green Dating?
According to this NPR article by Ben Bergman, Los Angeles website LA-fun.com recently organized a dating event for people in search of a “carbon-neutral connection.” And here I thought we’d already taken our green obsession too far. Now they’re organizing speed dating events around it, trying to match up people solely based on their mutual love for recycling and hybrid automobiles.Here’s a delightful exchange from the event:
"Where are you from, Felicia?" he asks.
"Pasadena," she replies.
"There's a lot of Pasadena people here for some reason," he says.
"Really? We should have carpooled!"
Um, okay, someone put me out of my misery, please.
Personally I don't date guys unless their penis is bigger than their carbon footprint.
