Sarah: Urbancougar of the Month, February 2009

Sarah

Urbancougar of the Month, February 2009

Hometown: Framingham, Ma.

“Go for it. Seriously, what have you got to lose?” -Sarah

This is why we love Sarah. She’s utterly fearless, refreshingly direct and hotter than a thousands suns.

Originally from Farmington, Massachusetts, Sarah now resides in Huntington Beach, California, where she’s busy “enjoying the good life,” as she says. Sarah’s a single mother who’s committed to living a healthy lifestyle and loves working out. “A cougar today is a women who takes care of herself.” But it’s more than just taking care of your outward appearance, she says. “When you know you are truly beautiful on the inside, it’s reflected on the outside and makes a woman even more beautiful.”

Now that’s a philosophy we can get behind.

So, you say, you love it when a guy cooks for you. What should a guy prepare to cook his way into your heart?
I had a boyfriend that used to cook for me all the time. My fave was a filet that he would stuff with blue cheese. I always eat super healthy - fish, sushi, whole wheat pasta. But this was so delicious I always broke the rules. You have to break the rules occasionally.

What turned you onto younger men?
Younger men seem to have the drive, ambition, and motivation… besides having great bodies.

How has your outlook changed since you embraced your inner cougar?
I’ve never been hung up on who I am supposed to date or whatever. It’s a non-issue. You should be confident enough to ask out a man if you’re attracted to him. You can’t get hung up on his age.

Have your friends/family embraced your cougar ways or do you find the silly stigma still exists?

Somewhat of a stigma still exits. But they see me happy and having fun.

What advice would you give a young cub looking to impress a cougar?
I think confidence is most attractive… without being cocky.
