"Women have avoided me and when I’ve gone out in the past, usually by myself. I get the 'evil-eye' from women who are with their men. It's like they are saying ‘don’t even look at him. Just go away!" -Kimberly

Does it surprise you that other women are jealous of Kimberly? Yeah, we didn't think so. It's the nature of the jungle. While other women may be threatened by Kimberly's beauty, shes got a healthy attitude about all of it. "I am not vain in any respect and don't see what everyone else sees in me," she says, "but I do know I'm not ugly. I am a little pretty and have a sexy figure." She does admit, however, that it hurts her feelings "that people won't give [her] a chance sometimes" on account of her looks.

You know who does give her a chance? Her students. Kimberly put herself through college and just graduated with a Bachelor's in Exceptional Special Education and Elementary Education. As she points out, "Dual major!" Yes, this devoted single mom is a teacher. How come we didn't have teachers like her when we were in school?! Ours were all frumpy and, you know, school marmish. We had no interest in seeing any of them in a bikini. Let's just say, we don't feel the same way about Kimberly!

What attracted you to your man?
I am so truly blessed to have the man I am with now. What attracted me to him is that he is sexy, faithful, sweet, honest, trustworthy, an awesome father and family man, and absolutely fun to be with. He goes the extra mile, is honorable, defends our country, is loyal, he listens, loves, is thoughtful, caring, sweet, and funny. He makes my heart smile. He is amazing and most certainly the man I’ve always dreamed of and prayed for but had never gotten until now. I have heard that younger men have high energy levels, athletic abilities, and stamina but I can tell you they can't touch all that my man is. I wouldn’t trade the man I have for anyone in the world, not even a younger man! Sorry guys.

Has being a cougar affected other areas of your life - e.g. your work, your friendships and other relationships?
I have always been told that others view me as “unapproachable”. I have never understood that. I guess I don’t see in me what others do. I am so simple and down to earth and fun-loving and I would talk to just about anyone. Women avoid me and when I’ve gone out in the past, usually by myself, I get the “evil-eye” from women who are with their men like they are saying ‘don’t even look at him – just go away’! I know God made me attractive, but I don’t see what others obviously see in me. It hurts my feelings that people won’t give me a chance sometimes. I really am just a simple girl with a heart of gold.

Do your students realize how lucky they are to have such a beautiful teacher?
I don’t know but it makes me feel on top of the world when they give me a great big hug on Monday morning and tell me they missed me over the weekend! I absolutely love teaching. To see the light go off in a child’s eyes when they finally ‘get’ something is the greatest joy to me!!

What do you do to stay so hot?!
I walk. Plain and simple. I walk around the community and I walk the deep sand at the beach. I usually walk 3-5 miles every time I go out. I also do crunches and housework (if you do it right you’ll get a great workout from just that).

Any words of encouragement for your fellow cougars out there?
Be confident in who you are. Not prideful or haughty, but confident and grateful for who God made you!
