More Sex in the City

Sex and the City star and super cougar Kim Catrall confirms (unsurprising) rumors that there will indeed be a sequel to the highly successful film based on the popular HBO series. According to People, the actress appeared on the British television show The Paul O'Grady Show and told guest host and one of our favorite spices, Melanie Brown, that there will indeed be a sequel.

A spokesperson for New Line (the studio behind the film) simply says that they're "in negotiations for a sequel" -- which of course just means they're trying to get their erstwhile cougars signed for a reasonable amount of money. But we guarantee a sequel will happen. And soon.


This is good news, of course. While we felt the first one was a touch long and maybe a little self-indulgent, it was undeniably fun and a wild success. And if Kim Catrall has her way, the second go round will be a lot sexier. She told reporters, "Samantha single is more fun that you can ever imagine."

Oh, we can imagine.
