Star Magazine Has An "Exclusive"

Stop the presses! Star Magazine has an "exclusive"! According to the mag, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer have reunited! Really? The rag must have its own definition of what an exclusive is. We reported on this reunion yesterday... based on something we read in the National Enquirer. So what exactly is Star's exclusive here? Got us.

We're not exactly paragons of journalistic integrity (in fact, we profess to have little journalistic integrity whatsoever) but don't you have to have some, you know, exclusive information to call something an "exclusive"? We know, crazy. Are they claiming this insidery information is what makes their story (which has been repeated here, here, and here) exclusive:

"At first Jennifer was afraid to respond to John's messages because she was afraid he'd break her heart again," says an insider. "The emails were especially poetic -- like love songs. He said he'd never stop loving her and he's been very, very persuasive."

Count us among the unimpressed.
