"Although a part of me is very wise, there is also a part that has a childlike innocence and naivete. I'm a free spirit. I'm always upbeat and optimistic. One time after having sex, a song I liked came on the radio (I always have music on during sex) so I jumped up and said: Come on! Let's dance!"

Why we love her
Even though Lucia says she doesn’t think of herself as an urbancougar ("I consider myself a cougar only in the sense that I prefer the company of younger men," she says. "I'm not interested in the "freedom of the hunt" but rather to be in a relationship with a younger man."), how could we not love a beautiful woman who likes to get jiggy after getting' jiggy?

Plus, she’s Italian and has "a European mentality towards dating." We assume that means she’s a little more (how do you say?) open when it comes to the ways of love and romance.

Yet, she says don't let her sleek exterior and sharp Italian lines fool you; she’s something of "a nerd," she claims. "I read a book a week, speak 4 languages and am working on a 5th."

Here’s guessing that new one she’s working on is the International Language.


Q&A

When did it become clear that you prefer the company of younger men?
After my last long term relationship ended several years ago, I noticed that the men asking me out that I was interested in dating were all younger. I find younger men usually have less baggage, are more honest with their feelings and don't try to control you. In terms of sex, I can't necessarily say they are better - sorry! It really depends on the person. Some guys know how to work it and some need to be taught.

How sexy does it make you feel when an attractive younger man falls prey to your seductions?
It makes all the time, energy and money spent on grooming and shopping worth it!

Do you have any special tactics when hunting your prey?
I make sure I always look sexy and classy. If I see someone I think is hot, I usually ignore them at first. When we finally speak, I am charming and witty and they can't help but be intrigued.

Want to share the gory details of your latest kill?
It was someone 13 years younger. When I first saw him, I thought he was cute but felt he that was too young for me, so I ignored him. He was also attracted to me, and when we spoke, I found out he wasn't as young as I thought he was. He immediately started asking me personal questions: Was I married? Did I have kids? Did I have a boyfriend? He was surprised. I was single. I was disappointed to hear he had a girlfriend. I then went on vacation and when I returned 3 weeks later, the first thing he said when he saw me was that he and his girlfriend had broken up! We soon started dating but he wasn't quite over his ex, so he eventually went back with her.

What do your girlfriends think about your urbancougar ways?
Most of them also date younger, so it's not an issue.

Do you have any words of encouragement for your fellow cougars out there?
In order to have a great relationship you need to have two people that appreciate each other and feel lucky to be together, no matter what the age difference may be. To quote the late Aaliyah, "Age ain't nothin' but a number".
